Life happens

As I sit here writing this blog and watch the end of The Bucket List I am left to ponder the meaning of life - and I don't plan to do it in this blog - I just meant to start answering questions that may lead to the meaning of life. What is our purpose here? I believe God placed us here to help each other move along this journey we call life. It is amazing how we fill our days with menial work away from the ones we love when we should be ale to have more time to enjoy them and to build them up.
This weekend was the first weekend in several weeks that nothing was planned. We ended up going shopping and out for dinner Saturday and then met with a bunch of friends to go to the Harvest craft show at the Odeum on Sunday and started getting Christmas presents for friends and family (and they're awesome presents!)

As we approach Thanksgiving, I am realizing how thankful I am for the family and friends I have surrounded myself with these past years. Thank you for your love and support!

Tired...yet inspired...

It's been a long day. There's so much I wanted to get done and so much I still want to do but I know when I have to throw in the towel at the end of the night and go to bed for some hopefully restful sleep.

Yesterday, I completed my 101 things to do in 1001 days list and will post it on here when I get the chance. I have to retype the whole thing before I can post it but that's okay - I'm still working on some of the aspects of it.

When I got home from work today, Geoff had sausage cooking on the stove in onions and garlic - Yum! He then grilled them and we had them on buns with onions and German potato salad. I took this evening to just relax and start tackling one of the items on my list - Complete a 1000+ piece puzzle. Several years ago, someone got me a Disney Photomosaic puzzle of Eeyore. It has 1026 pieces and so far I have completed the outside edge along with most of the pink bow on his butt.... There is still more puzzle to complete - the end picture is supposed to be 20" x 27".

I'm excited for this weekend since Larry Zimberg will be in town for Beachbody Game Plan training and I have several interested friends who will be joining me for the training and to learn more about the Beachbody opportunity.

Where can you find a company who will advertise their product for you and start to give you customers once you reach a very basic level? Where can you find a company who will waive your start up fee? It only takes one to make a start...

Each month begins with the number one. It only takes a spark to get a fire going. It takes one step in the right direction to make something happen. I'm looking forwards to a positive November.
As much as I wanted to stay in bed and sleep this morning, I got up and got ready for work - letting the dogs out, taking my shower and getting out the door as close to on time as possible...As I drove to work I was cut off by a big yellow bus who didn't understand the concept of a stop sign or the safety of children but thankfully it didn't cause an accident. I experienced a day that was mostly positive and then got the best news - I had finally signed a coach for my Beachbody business!

I had signed up back at the end of April partly as a favor to my old roommate from Disney (who would've thought 10 years ago when we both arrived at the Disney College Program property, Chatham that we would be put together and keep in touch this whole time?!) and partly as a kick in the butt to myself to get my lazy but in gear and motivate me to workout and try to lose weight.

Like I said in my last post - it is a lifetime journey - and so is my journey with weight loss and working out. My family has never been the ultimate workout fiends and we know that if we do not exercise like we should, the weight will come on and we'll have a hard time taking it off - but then its the internal fight of what to eat and what not to eat. That is the focus-by finding like-minded people who desire to workout and eat heathier, I eventually will become the person I was meant to be - the way God created me.

As I close out this night, I think about how cool it would be if I signed one coach a day for a month - think about how that would totally change my business. One of my goals is to have over $26,000 of student loans paid off by July 2011. Some will say that I won't make it but I believe that if I apply myself to my businesses (Beachbody, Lia Sophia, Rovia/WorldVentures) then I will make money and have that and other debts paid off and have the money for Geoff and I to enjoy our house remodeled the way we want it to be.

Life is a journey that we take like a race - one step at a time, one breath in-one breath out - helping one another.
